Teams must avoid falling behind by a full golf hole. The maximum score for any hole is a double bogey. Each team must use three drives from each team member during the 18-holes.

We will tee off promptly at 9 a.m. Kingsmill provides a shuttle service to and from the practice range. To use the range, register and be at the range by 7:45 or so to ensure your return for final instructions at 8:45.  There is a practice green adjacent to the Registration area. Complimentary coffee and muffins will be available during the morning registration.

Registration:  Registration will begin at 7:30am at the Plantation/River Course scoreboard.  All participants, including those who pre-registered and paid, must check-in at registration. When registering, participants are asked to sign an insurance waiver and a Media Release, granting Wintergreen Adaptive Sports the option to use your image in any media release or promotion.

On September 24th and 25th Wintergreen Resort again played host to the Spartan Race. Comprised of an arduous 8-mile obstacle course on several of the resort's ski trails, the Spartan Super represents Virginia's part of the national Spartan Race tour. Tasked with parking lot duties on the day of the race, with a portion of the proceed benefitting Wintergreen Adaptive Sports activities. WAS volunteers who helped out with this annual two-day event earned us a nice contribution from Spartain. Thank you.

This, the largest and most important fundraising event we undertake each year, helps to underwrite everything we do, from our subsidized daily lessons to equipment purchases and repair to our complementary wounded warrior snow sports and paddling lessons. Updated October 6, 2016–Thanks once again to the folks at Charlottesville's Sedona Taphouse for bringing WAS in as the beneficiary of this past July's Steak-out for Charity event. WAS executive director, Dave Shreve, joined Sedona manager, Jordon Coleman, for last week's check presentation. Thanks to Christine, Rodell, Cierra, Jordon, and all the Sedona crew for being such a great community partner!

All of us at WAS would like to thank our friends at Sedona Taphouse, for choosing us as the beneficiary of the July Steak-Out for Charity event (with a percentage of all proceeds going to WAS).

We're very grateful for the generous contribution connected to this terrific fundraising event, for the enjoyable outings to the Millmont St. taphouse, and for the many ways the Sedona Taphouse owners, managers, and staff think often about and contribute greatly to the community they serve so well. Join us again as we continue to frequent this favorite place of ours in Charlottesville, on future Steak Out Mondays, or any other time.
