The WAS Hut is located in lot 2. This is the parking lot that is below the rentals and Edge Restaurant building. The Hut is located on the crosstrail slope. If you drive on a bridge going over a ski slope you have driven too far! If the gate is closed to the parking lot, please call The Hut phone number (434) 277-3408 and we will send someone out to let you in. Morning lessons are 10:00-12:30 and afternoon lessons are 1:30-4:00. Full day lessons are 10:00-4:00 with an on-your-own lunch from 12:30-1:30. We have restrooms/ changing areas available as needed. There is room in the hut to eat if you would like to do so. This space is also nice for family members to watch the lesson from as we have a pretty good view of the learning area and a part of Dobie. Family members are welcome to hang out in the hut during the lesson.
If you need to cancel your lesson, please email Haley at info@skiwas.org as soon as you know you need to cancel. If it is a day before or the day of the lesson, please also call The Hut and leave a message to let us know as Haley may not see the email in time.
WAS provides adaptive equipment, rentals, lift ticket, helmet, good times, and instruction with all lessons. Lessons are $60 for a half day and $100 for a full lesson . We accept cash and card and take payment upon completion of the lesson. We also have scholarships as needed, just reach out to Haley and we will make it happen!
