Summer paddling program returns in 2017
We are working to bring the summer program back in 2017.
Wintergreen Adaptive Sports has always organized our adaptive sports instruction with an emphasis on safety, fun, and learning—prioritized exactly in that order. Our summer paddling program depends heavily on the support of our dedicated volunteers to ensure that all participants have a safe and meaningful experience on the water.
Due to unexpected changes in recent years, we suspended our summer program in 2016. Now we have an eye toward rebuilding, securing the safety of, and enhancing the program’s services.
We sorely missed the opportunity to be with our perennial adaptive kayakers and canoeists and regret that we were unable to offer the experience to any new friends last summer.
